About

My name is Stephanie Krajicek. I am a certified English and French teacher, but am currently taking time off from the classroom to raise my family. Since I left the classroom, I’ve had time to search out the technology tools that I was desperately seeking, and I’ve learned more about the kind of teacher I want to be when I do go back.

Most of the time, I’m a SAHM who spends her days with her children, dreaming about one day running again, thinking about good food on an hourly basis, and yearning for a good book and time to read it. I love teaching, but I love being at home, more. There’s truth in the idea that you don’t really understand your mother until you are one. My mother used to lament (and still does) not being able to stay home with us longer. As fast as these last three years have flown by, I finally understand what she was trying to tell me. So here I am, soaking it all in.

A few days a month, I get dolled up and teach teachers — something I never envisioned myself doing, but I am really enjoying it. Teaching with the Buddy Project in Indiana and BER has allowed me to grow in both my personal life and my professional life. I have been incredibly lucky. I am able to have the best of both worlds: I am home with my children and I’m keeping on top of my profession and meeting new people who share my passion. I couldn’t ask for more.
